2月15日—23日9天春节假期期间,全国民航累计运输旅客2205万人次、保障航班17.1万班,日均245万人次、18956班,分别比2025年春运同期(2025年1月27日—2月4日,共9天,下同)增长7.7%、4.4%;航班正常率达95.8%,比2025年春运同期提升0.6个百分点。其中,2026年2月23日(正月初七)运输旅客266.8万人次,比2025年春运同期(正月初七,下同)增长7.6%,创历史新高;保障航班19601班,比2025年春运同期增长4.4%。
During the 9‑day Spring Festival holiday from February 15 to 23, 2026, China's civil aviation industry transported a total of 22.05 million passengers and operated 171,000 flights, averaging 2.45 million passengers and 18,956 flights per day. These figures represent increases of 7.7% and 4.4% respectively compared to the same period of the 2025 Spring Festival travel rush (January 27 – February 4, 2025, also 9 days). The on‑time flight rate reached 95.8%, up 0.6 percentage points from the same period in 2025.Notably, on February 23, 2026 (the 7th day of the Lunar New Year), passenger throughput hit a record high of 2.668 million, an increase of 7.6% over the same lunar day in 2025, with 19,601 flights operated, up 4.4% from the 2025 holiday period.

All civil aviation units have earnestly implemented the relevant work requirements for Spring Festival holiday support, ensuring safe, stable, and orderly operations.Domestically, the busiest airports mainly included Guangzhou Baiyun, Shanghai Pudong, Shenzhen Bao'an, Beijing Capital, Chengdu Tianfu, Beijing Daxing, Chongqing Jiangbei, Kunming Changshui, Xi'an Xianyang, and Hangzhou Xiaoshan. The most popular routes (one‑way) were: Shanghai Hongqiao–Beijing Capital, Shanghai Hongqiao–Shenzhen Bao'an, Shanghai Hongqiao–Guangzhou Baiyun, Shenzhen Bao'an–Shanghai Hongqiao, Guangzhou Baiyun–Shanghai Hongqiao, Beijing Capital–Shanghai Hongqiao, Shenzhen Bao'an–Beijing Capital, Beijing Capital–Shenzhen Bao'an, Guangzhou Baiyun–Hangzhou Xiaoshan, and Harbin Taiping–Shanghai Pudong.In addition, to cope with the peak return travel demand in the Hainan region, the Civil Aviation Administration organized airlines to increase seat supply through additional flights and the deployment of wide‑body aircraft, making every effort to meet passenger travel needs.Internationally, the busiest entry‑exit airports included Shanghai Pudong, Guangzhou Baiyun, Beijing Capital, Chengdu Tianfu, Shenzhen Bao'an, Xiamen Gaoqi, Kunming Changshui, Beijing Daxing, Hangzhou Xiaoshan, and Chongqing Jiangbei. Popular destinations were concentrated in tourist countries such as Thailand, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Russia, and Australia. Among them, passenger traffic to Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Maldives, and Kazakhstan saw relatively large year‑on‑year increases. Driven by the extended holiday, passenger volumes on long‑haul routes to Turkey, Australia, Russia, Spain, and New Zealand also increased significantly. At the same time, the inbound tourism market continued to grow, with a notable rise in the number of inbound passengers from countries such as South Korea, Vietnam, Russia, and Mongolia.
