The civil aviation has served for 147 million passengers in Summertime with the high records of daily passenger Volumes

2025年暑运（7月1日至8月31日），全国民航累计运输旅客1.47亿人次，日均237万人次，同比增长3.6%；保障航班119.9万班（往返计2班，下同），日均1.93万班，同比增长3.6%；平均客座率84.8%，同比增加2.2个百分点；航班正常率84%，同比提升6.7个百分点。其中，8月15日旅客运输量达256.53万人次，超过历史最高水平。

In the summertime of 2025 (July 1 to August 31), China's civil aviation carried a total of 147 million passengers, with the daily average of 2.37 million, up 3.6% from the same period of last year, and the flight for automatic rebooking has reached 1,199,000 (a round trip is counted as two flights; the same applies below) with the daily average of 19,300 flights, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%. Moreover, the average load factor was 84.8 percent, up 2.2 percentage points year-on-year, and the on-time performance rate of the flight was 84%, up 6.7% year-on-year. It is also remarkable that passenger traffic on August 15th reached 2,565,300, hitting a record high.

国内航空运输方面，旅客运输稳步增长。7月1日至8月31日，国内航线累计运输旅客1.31亿人次，日均211万人次，同比增长2.6%；保障国内客运航班90.6万班，日均1.46万班，同比增长1.7%。

The number of passengers in domestic air transport has been grewing steadily. From July 1 to August 31, the passenger volumes of domestic flights has reached 131 million, with the daily average of 2.11 million, a year-on-year increase of 2.6%, and the passenger flight is 906,000, with the daily average of 14,600, up 1.7 percent year-on-year.

从骨干航线网络来看，国内民航客流集中在京津冀、长三角、粤港澳、成渝四大城市群之间的骨干通道。其中，连接北京—上海、北京—成都、上海—深圳、上海—广州、北京—深圳等国际航空枢纽间的国内航空快线，约占国内航线旅客总量的约7.2%。昆明、乌鲁木齐、厦门等区域枢纽机场旅客吞吐量增幅均超过3%。

From the perspective of the trunk route network, the domestic passenger traffic is concentrated in the backbone channels between the four major urban agglomerations of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao, and Chengdu-Chongqing, and the domestic air express routes connecting Beijing-Shanghai, Beijing-Chengdu, Shanghai-Shenzhen, Shanghai-Guangzhou, Beijing-Shenzhen and other international aviation hubs account for about 7.2% of the domestic passenger traffic. In addition, the airport passenger throughput of Kunming, Urumqi, Xiamen and other regional hubs has grown by more than 3%.

从基础航线网络来看，暑期旅游市场火热，旅游目的地支线机场旅客规模提升迅速。云南普洱思茅、湖北十堰武当山、河南安阳红旗渠、青海海北祁连等支线机场旅客吞吐量同比增幅超过100%。新疆哈密伊州、新疆石河子花园、山西忻州五台山、广东梅州梅县等机场旅客吞吐量同比增幅超过50%。

From the perspective of the basic route network, the booming summer travel market has driven rapid growth in passenger volume at regional airports serving tourist destinations. The passenger throughput of regional airports in Simao (Pu'er city, Yunnan province), Wudang Mountain (Shiyan city, Hubei province), Hongqi Canal (Anyang city, Henan province), and Qilian (Haibei city, Qinghai province) increased by more than 100 year-on-year. The passenger throughput of airports in Yizhou (Hami city, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region), Shihezi Garden (Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region), Wutai Mountain (Xinzhou city, Shanxi province), and Meixian (Meizhou city, Guangdong province) has increased by more than 50% year-on-year.

国际航空运输方面，市场快速拓展。目前国际客运航线通航国家已增至80个，1至8月客运航班量同比增幅超过20%。暑运期间客运航班量进一步增加，7月1日至8月31日保障中外航空公司国际客运航班12.3万班，日均近2000班；8月上旬达到高峰，每日执行国际客运航班量2100班左右，高峰周航班量约为2019年的93%。

The international air transport market has been expanding rapidly. Currently, China has cooperated with 80 countries in international passenger routes, and the number of passenger flights from January to August has increased by more than 20% year-on-year. During the summertime, the number of passenger flights further increased. From July 1 to August 31, a total of 123,000 international passenger flights were operated by Chinese and foreign carriers, with daily average of nearly 2,000. Passenger flight volume peaked in early August at around 2,100 flights daily, and the peak weekly passenger volume is approximately 93% of the 2019 level.

从热点国家来看，出入境热门国家集中在东亚和东南亚传统旅游客源国和目的国市场，越南、韩国等国家日均航班量同比增加20班以上，俄罗斯、乌兹别克斯坦、哈萨克斯坦、柬埔寨、马来西亚等国家日均航班量增加10班以上。南亚、中西亚、欧洲等部分新兴市场和远程国家航班也有较大增幅，至马尔代夫、瑞士、斯里兰卡等国家航班量同比增长超过50%，至西班牙、阿塞拜疆、文莱、希腊等国家航班量同比增长超过30%。

The popular travel countries are concentrated in the markets of traditional tourist countries in East Asia and Southeast Asia. The average daily flights increased by more than 20 year-on-year in countries such as Vietnam and South Korea, and by over 10 in others including Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, and Malaysia. The international flights to some emerging markets and long-distance countries are also increased significantly, including South Asia, Central and Western Asia, and Europe. Moreover, the flights to Maldives, Switzerland, Sri Lanka and other countries has increased by more than 50% year-on-year, and flights to Spain, Azerbaijan, Brunei, Greece and other countries increased over 30% year-on-year.

从旅客结构来看，随着我国入境免签、离境退税、支付和出行等方面政策措施不断优化，以及国际口岸机场的出入境和中转便利化水平不断提升，暑运期间外籍旅客入境数量明显增长，其中阿联酋、沙特阿拉伯、巴林等免签国家来华旅客量同比增长超过50%，俄罗斯、韩国、科威特、匈牙利、波兰、巴林等免签国家来华旅客量增长超过30%。此外，越南、缅甸、孟加拉、尼泊尔、哈萨克斯坦和乌兹别克斯坦等周边国家来华旅客量也有较大幅度增长。

The number of foreign passengers entering China saw a significant increase during the summertime with optimized policies on visa-free entry, departure tax refunds, payment, and travel, alongside enhanced entry-exit and transit facilitation at international gateway airports. For instance, the number of passengers from visa-free countries such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain has increased by more than 50% year-on-year, and the number of visitors to China from visa-free countries such as Russia, South Korea, Kuwait, Hungary, Poland and Bahrain increased by more than 30%. In addition, the number of tourists from neighboring countries such as Vietnam, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Nepal, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan has also increased significantly.
