教育厅公示！空天信息大学来了

Department of Education Announcement! The Aerospace Information Technology University is here

3月23日，山东省教育厅发布《关于拟申报高校设置事项的公示》。根据《中华人民共和国高等教育法》《普通本科学校设置暂行规定》等法律法规和有关政策规定，现对拟申报的空天信息大学设置事项予以公示。

On March 23, the Shandong Provincial Department of Education issued the Public Notice on Matters Concerning the Planned Application for the Establishment of a New Institution of Higher Education. In accordance with the Higher Education Law of the People's Republic of China, the Interim Provisions on the Establishment of Regular Undergraduate Institutions and other relevant laws, regulations and policies, the planned establishment of Aerospace Information Technology University is hereby announced to the public.

学校官网介绍，空天信息大学(英文全称：Aerospace Information Technology University，英文缩写：AITech)是正在筹建中的山东省属公办普通本科高校，由山东省人民政府主办，纳入山东省高等学校设置“十四五”规划，是我国第一所以“空天信息”命名的高等院校。学校按照“高起点、小而精、研究型、国际化”的原则，努力建设一所空天信息特色鲜明、产学研用一体化发展的新型研究型大学。

According to the university’s official website, Aerospace Information Technology University (abbreviated as AITech) is a public regular undergraduate institution under construction in Shandong Province. Sponsored by the People’s Government of Shandong Province, the university has been included in the 14th Five-Year Plan for the Establishment of Institutions of Higher Education in Shandong Province. It is the first higher education institution in China to bear the name "Aerospace Information". Guided by the principles of "high starting point, small but refined scale, research-oriented and international development", the university aims to build a new type of research institution with distinctive aerospace information features and integrated development of industry, academia, research and application.

学校驻地济南市章丘区，校园规划建设用地约1100亩、建筑面积64.7万平方米。学校在信息与通信工程、电子科学与技术、遥感科学与技术、空间科学与技术、导航工程、光子科学等重大创新领域积极布局，争取取得重大原创性成果、建设国家级科研平台，切实提升服务国家发展战略的创新能力。

The university is located in Zhangqiu District, Jinan City, with a planned campus construction land of approximately 1,100 mu and a building area of 647,000 square meters. It is strategically positioning itself in key innovation fields including information and communication engineering, electronic science and technology, remote sensing science and technology, space science and technology, navigation engineering, and photonics. The university aims to achieve major original breakthroughs, build national-level scientific research platforms, and effectively enhance its capacity to innovate in support of national development strategies.
