教育部召开乡村振兴工作领导小组会暨乡村振兴工作推进会

The Ministry of Education held a meeting of the Rural Revitalization Leading Group and a promotion meeting for rural revitalization work.

5月13日，教育部召开乡村振兴工作领导小组会暨乡村振兴工作推进会，深入学习贯彻习近平总书记关于教育、“三农”工作的重要论述，贯彻落实党中央、国务院关于统筹建立常态化防止返贫致贫机制促进乡村全面振兴的部署要求，安排部署教育常态化帮扶工作。教育部党组成员、副部长、部乡村振兴工作领导小组副组长杜江峰出席会议并讲话。

On May 13, the Ministry of Education held a meeting of the Rural Revitalization Leading Group and a promotion meeting for rural revitalization work. The meeting focused on thoroughly studying and implementing the important expositions of XI Jinping on education and work concerning "agriculture, rural areas, and farmers," and on carrying out the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on systematically establishing a regular mechanism to prevent a return to poverty and to promote comprehensive rural revitalization. It also made plans and arrangements for regular educational assistance efforts. Du Jiangfeng, member of the Party Leadership Group, Vice Minister of Education, and Deputy Head of the Ministry's Rural Revitalization Leading Group, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

会议指出，以习近平同志为核心的党中央高度重视推进常态化帮扶、持续巩固拓展脱贫攻坚成果工作，习近平总书记多次发表重要讲话、作出重要指示批示，为我们做好工作提供了科学指南。教育系统要以高度的政治自觉深入学习领会、认真贯彻落实，切实把思想和行动统一到党中央决策部署上来。

The meeting pointed out that the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi at its core places great importance on advancing regular assistance and continuously consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation. General Secretary Xi has delivered several important speeches and made important instructions and directives, providing a scientific guide for our work. The education system must, with a high degree of political consciousness, thoroughly study and understand these directives and earnestly implement them, effectively unifying our thoughts and actions with the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee.

会议强调，今年是开展常态化帮扶的开局之年，要系统总结梳理，做好教育常态化帮扶政策和工作衔接。要完善保障体系，守牢义务教育有保障底线任务。要健全帮扶体系，切实推动乡村教育高质量发展。要优化工作模式，着力提升中央单位定点帮扶实效。要找准教育强国和农业强国建设的结合点，提升教育服务乡村振兴效能。要把教育帮扶成效作为开展树立和践行正确政绩观学习教育的直接检验，奋力推动教育常态化帮扶工作开好局起好步。

The meeting stressed that this year marks the first year for implementing regular assistance. It is necessary to systematically summarize and review past efforts and ensure smooth policy and work coordination for regular educational assistance. Efforts should be made to improve the support system and firmly uphold the bottom-line task of guaranteeing compulsory education. The assistance framework should be strengthened to effectively promote high-quality development of rural education. Work models should be optimized to enhance the effectiveness of targeted assistance by central government departments and institutions. Key points of synergy should be identified between building a strong education system and achieving agricultural strength, so as to improve the effectiveness of education in serving rural revitalization. The outcomes of educational assistance should serve as a direct test for fostering and practicing a correct understanding of performance in political study and education, and vigorous efforts should be made to ensure a good start for regular educational assistance.

At the meeting, the education departments of Shandong Province, Hubei Province, and Gansu Province, as well as Sun Yat-sen University and Southwest University, delivered exchange speeches.

会议以视频形式召开，教育部相关司局和直属单位、各省(区、市)教育厅(教委)、相关直属高校负责同志参加会议。

The meeting was held via video link. Responsible officials from relevant departments and directly affiliated units of the Ministry of Education, education departments (commissions) of various provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), and relevant directly affiliated universities attended the meeting.
