Recently, we learned from Shanghai Hanxing Energy Technology Co., Ltd. that the 4,000 Nm³/h natural gas-to-hydrogen unit, custom-designed and supplied by its subsidiary, Anhui Huadong Chemical & Pharmaceutical Engineering Co., Ltd., for Tianjin Jinke Daily Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd., achieved one-time successful commissioning on October 30 and produced qualified products. At present, the unit is operating stably, its economic and technical indicators meet the design requirements, and its reliable system performance fully satisfies the production needs.
According to reports, the Intelligent Manufacturing Project of Tianjin Jinke Daily Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd. is the first high-end sodium percarbonate and related functional green daily chemical materials project for its northern China layout, invested by Zhejiang Jinke Daily Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd. with 1 billion yuan. Specializing in the research and development, production and sales of sodium percarbonate—a key oxygen-based bleaching auxiliary, Zhejiang Jinke Daily Chemical has evolved into a world-renowned modern high-tech enterprise engaged in the supply of raw materials for oxygen-based bleaching agents and disinfectants after years of dedicated development.
Anhui Huadong Chemical & Pharmaceutical Engineering Co., Ltd. provides the project with a full set of engineering design and equipment supply for the hydrogen production unit. It adopts the advanced and mature proprietary engineering technology for natural gas-to-hydrogen conversion developed by Hanxing Energy, using natural gas as feedstock. High-purity hydrogen is produced via processes including natural gas steam reforming and pressure swing adsorption (PSA), which is then supplied to the downstream production of hydrogen peroxide and sodium percarbonate.
Ji Zhiyuan, chairman of Hanxing Energy, said that this project is the second time that Hanxing Energy has cooperated with Jinke Daily Chemical after providing Zhejiang Jinke Daily Chemical with a full set of engineering design and equipment supply for a 5,000 Nm³/h hydrogen production unit in 2021.
