Joint Announcement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Tourism of the Federative Republic of Brazil on the 2026 China-Brazil Year of Culture

根据《中华人民共和国和巴西联邦共和国关于携手构建更公正世界和更可持续星球的中巴命运共同体的联合声明》，双方将于2026年共同庆祝“中巴文化年”。

In accordance with the Joint Statement between the People's Republic of China and the Federative Republic of Brazil on Jointly Building a China-Brazil Community with a Shared Future for a More Just World and a More Sustainable Planet, the two sides will celebrate 2026 as the "China-Brazil Year of Culture."

继2024年两国成功举办庆祝建交50周年系列文化活动后，2026“中巴文化年”将进一步拉紧文化纽带，推动双向交流，彰显彼此文化的多样性和创造力。

Following the successful series of cultural events held by the two countries in 2024 to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, the 2026 China-Brazil Year of Culture will further strengthen cultural ties, promote two-way exchanges, and showcase the diversity and creativity of the two cultures.

2026“中巴文化年”期间，两国将开展形式多样、内容丰富的文化活动。有关活动将涵盖多种文化艺术形式，比如舞台表演、视觉艺术、音乐、非物质文化遗产、视听艺术、文化多样性、青年交流、人才培养、旅游和创新等领域项目，以增进两国人民相互了解与民心相通。

During the 2026 China-Brazil Year of Culture, the two countries will carry out cultural activities in diverse forms and with rich content. These activities will cover a wide range of cultural and artistic forms — including stage performances, visual arts, music, intangible cultural heritage, audiovisual arts, cultural diversity, youth exchanges, talent development, tourism and innovation — with a view to enhancing mutual understanding and people-to-people bonds between the two peoples.
