The "Su Chao" (Jiangsu Super League) continues to gain popularity, and host cities Suqian and Changzhou have launched various fan-friendly initiatives. By offering cultural and tourism discounts and thoughtful services, they aim to make every visiting fan and tourist feel warmly welcomed.
Recently, Suqian’s commerce and tourism departments teamed up with over 100 local restaurants, shopping malls, and scenic spots to set up "second viewing spots" by broadcasting matches on large screens and store TVs. Out-of-town fans and tourists can enjoy 20%-50% discounts on accommodations. In addition, those with match ticket stubs can get a 12% discount at selected local restaurants.
Tang Chunxia, manager of a restaurant in Suqian, said: “We offer a 12% discount on all dishes and provide shuttle services for guests. The 'Su-Chao' atmosphere is so lively—it has us all caught up in the excitement.”
In Changzhou, dinosaur and football-themed buses and metro trains have officially begun operation. Inside, passengers can see cute dinosaur and football designs everywhere.
The China Dinosaur Park, one of Changzhou’s iconic attractions, has seen its cultural products gain popularity thanks to the league’s creative cultural campaigns. Netizens collectively designed an initial AI-generated image of "Dinosaur Sister," and the park’s team of cultural products quickly launched a “Dinosaur Sister” doll series. The creative synergy struck a chord with the public, with over 15,000 dolls already sold.
Moreover, the "Su Chao" league has spurred demand for football field construction and equipment upgrades. From sneakers, jerseys, and cheer towels to artificial turf and pitch facilities, related companies across Jiangsu are working overtime to expand production.
