Carrying Forward the Spirit of National Flag Protection, Inheriting the Sacred Mission

为践行生态文明理念，展现国旗护卫队队员担当，西藏职业技术学院国旗护卫队于2025年9月6日在拉鲁湿地国家级自然保护区开展“逐光拉鲁 徒步共生”湿地健走环保盛典活动，其中国旗护卫队队员及校学生会志愿者师生共70余人参加该活动。

To practice the concept of ecological civilization and demonstrate the commitment of the National Flag Guard members, the National Flag Guard of Tibet Vocational and Technical College launched the "Chasing Light in Lalu, Walking for Coexistence" Wetland Fitness Walk and Environmental Protection Event at the Lalu Wetland National Nature Reserve on September 6, 2025. Over 70 participants, including National Flag Guard members and student union volunteer teachers and students, took part in the activity.

开展此次活动，不仅能够提高广大学生对湿地与水关系认知度的同时，还能增强消防安全意识，倡导全社会参与保护湿地的良好风尚。湿地生态系统是陆地与水域之间水陆相互作用形成的特殊的自然综合体，它兼有水域和陆地生态系统的特点，具有极其特殊的生态功能。湿地与人类的生存、繁衍、发展息息相关，它不仅为人类的生产、生活提供多种资源，而且具有巨大的环境功能和效益，在抵御洪水、调节径流、蓄洪防旱、控制污染、调节气候、控制土壤侵蚀、促淤造陆、美化环境等方面有其它系统不可替代的作用，因此，湿地被誉为“地球之肾”。

This activity not only helped enhance students' understanding of the relationship between wetlands and water but also raised awareness of fire safety, promoting a positive social trend of participating in wetland protection. A wetland ecosystem is a unique natural complex formed by the interaction between land and water bodies, combining characteristics of both aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems and possessing extremely special ecological functions. Wetlands are closely linked to human survival, reproduction, and development. They not only provide various resources for human production and life but also have immense environmental functions and benefits. They play an irreplaceable role in flood control, runoff regulation, drought prevention, pollution control, climate regulation, soil erosion control, siltation promotion, land formation, and environmental beautification, earning wetlands the title of "the kidneys of the Earth."

活动主要以“健走强体+湿地护绿”为核心，分三阶段推进：一是“环保宣讲前置”，活动前邀请保护区工作人员开展线上讲座，讲解拉鲁湿地生态价值与保护要点，明确“无痕徒步”规则；二是“健走护绿并行”，队员与志愿者组成2支队伍，沿湿地指定步道完成5公里健走，同步手持环保袋清理沿途垃圾（塑料瓶、纸屑等），累计清理垃圾15公斤；三是“心得分享收尾”，活动最后在保护区科普站开展交流，队员结合护旗责任与环保行动谈感悟，纷纷表示“守护国旗尊严与守护湿地生态同样重要，都是对家园的责任”。

The activity primarily focused on "Fitness Walking for Health + Protecting Wetland Greenery" and was carried out in three stages: First, a "Pre-event Environmental Protection Lecture" invited reserve staff to conduct an online seminar explaining the ecological value and key protection points of Lalu Wetland, clarifying the rules for "Leave No Trace" hiking. Second, "Simultaneous Fitness Walking and Green Protection" involved members and volunteers forming two teams to complete a 5-kilometer walk along a designated wetland trail while simultaneously collecting litter (such as plastic bottles and paper scraps) with eco-bags, accumulating 15 kg of waste collected. Third, a "Closing Experience Sharing Session" was held at the reserve's science education station, where members shared insights connecting their responsibility of protecting the national flag with environmental actions, unanimously expressing that "safeguarding the dignity of the national flag is as important as protecting the wetland ecosystem; both are responsibilities towards our homeland."

此次拉鲁湿地徒步活动，不仅是一次体能训练，更是“爱国主义教育”与“生态文明教育”的有机融合。队员们在亲近自然的同时，进一步凝聚了“护旗为荣、扛责在肩”的信念。未来，国旗护卫队将继续以多样化训练强化队员综合素养，让每一次训练都成为践行“守护国旗、致敬祖国”誓言的实践，以更昂扬的姿态守护校园里的五星红旗。(江拥拉姆、旦珍、边巴顿珠)

This hiking event in Lalu Wetland was not only a physical training session but also an organic integration of "patriotic education" and "ecological civilization education." While connecting with nature, the members further solidified their belief in "taking pride in protecting the flag and shouldering responsibilities." In the future, the National Flag Guard will continue to enhance members' comprehensive skills through diversified training, ensuring each session serves as practice for fulfilling the oath of "guarding the national flag and honoring the motherland," striving to protect the Five-Starred Red Flag on campus with even more vigor.
