本届北京城市副中心马拉松以大运河文化带为核心，起点位于首都中轴线以东首个国家5A级旅游景区——北京(通州)大运河文化旅游景区核心景点燃灯塔前，终点设在原滨河北路地块。最终经过激烈角逐，来自肯尼亚的选手基普罗普·菲利普·卡尔文(KIPROP PHILIP CALVIN)以及来自中国的选手金玲玲分获男、女子组冠军，完赛时间分别为2小时15分30秒和2小时50分03秒。
Centered on the Grand Canal Cultural Belt, this Beijing Urban Sub-center Marathon started in front of Ran Deng Tower, a core scenic spot of Beijing (Tongzhou) Grand Canal Cultural Tourism Scenic Area—the first national 5A-level tourist attraction east of the capital's central axis, and ended at the former Binhe North Road plot. After fierce competition, Kenyan runner KIPROP PHILIP CALVIN and Chinese runner Jin Lingling won the men's and women's championships respectively, with finishing times of 2 hours 15 minutes 30 seconds and 2 hours 50 minutes 3 seconds.

The "bullet time" interactive area in the booth became the most popular area among runners. Dozens of cameras formed an array to trigger shutters synchronously for surrounding shooting. Within ten seconds, each static photo could be synthesized into an exclusive bullet dynamic picture, making the photos present 3D effects. Runners coming for interaction participated personally, making funny movements from time to time, and laughter echoed constantly.
