  • 10月26日至27日,首届中国(国际)机器人辩论大赛在北京举行初赛。本次大赛汇聚了来自清华大学、武汉大学、湖北大学、人大附中北京经济技术开发区学校等院校,以及松延动力、加速进化等企业的共14支赛队,上演了一场场精彩纷呈的“人机思辨”对决。
    From October 26 to 27, the preliminary rounds of the First China (International) Robot Debate Contest were held in Beijing. A total of 14 teams participated in the contest, representing institutions including Tsinghua University, Wuhan University, Hubei University, and the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China (Beijing Economic-Technological Development Zone Campus), as well as enterprises such as Songyan Power and Accelerated Evolution. These teams competed in a series of brilliant "human-machine reasoning" duels.
  • 大赛首创“人机协同—人机对抗——机机对决”的三层进阶赛制。初赛阶段,各队由人类辩手与自家机器人搭档出战,围绕一系列兼具前瞻性与思辨性的科技伦理与社会议题展开激烈辩论。辩题涵盖“大学生应用AI学习的利弊”“脑机接口技术的社会影响”以及“平台经济监管与自由竞争”等数字时代的核心争议。赛场上,机器人辩手或对答如流,或经过“深思熟虑”后娓娓道来,展现了人工智能在复杂逻辑构建和语言表达上的能力。评委团则从逻辑性、语言表现力、多模态交互、技能展示和临场应变五个维度进行综合评判。
    This contest pioneered a three-tier progressive competition system: Human-Machine Collaboration → Human-Machine Confrontation → Machine-Machine Duel.In the preliminary round, each team competed as a pairing of human debaters and their respective robots, engaging in intense debates on a series of forward-looking, thought-provoking topics related to tech ethics and social issues. These topics included core digital-era controversies such as "The pros and cons of college students using AI for learning", "The social impact of brain-computer interface technology", and "Platform economy regulation vs. free competition".During the matches, the robot debaters either responded fluently on the spot or articulated their arguments thoughtfully after a brief "consideration" — showcasing AI’s capabilities in complex logical reasoning and linguistic expression.The judges evaluated the teams comprehensively based on five criteria: logical coherence, linguistic expressiveness, multimodal interaction, skill demonstration, and on-site adaptability.

    "We spent 2 months systematically upgrading the robot's dialogue performance through semantic training, continuous iteration of dialogue algorithms, and the introduction of keyword interaction strategies." Zhu Junsong, deputy dean of the School of Journalism and Communication of Ningxia University, introducing when sharing the preparations for the competition that this process is not only full of the hardships of technical research, but also reflects the fun of man-machine collaborative exploration.
  • 中国技术市场协会荣誉会长陶元兴表示,本届大赛是尖端技术的“试金石”,考验的是机器对自然语言的深度理解、知识整合与逻辑构建能力,目标是打磨人工智能领域“皇冠上的明珠”。
    Tao Yuanxing, Honorary President of the China Technology Market Association, stated that this contest serves as a "touchstone" for cutting-edge technologies. It tests robots' capabilities in deep natural language understanding, knowledge integration, and logical construction, with the goal of refining what is often called the "crown jewel" in the field of artificial intelligence.
  • 在科普与产业推广层面,主办方人工智能与传播专业委员会理事长赵云泽教授认为,大赛是一场“全民性的科技启蒙运动”,既能激发社会对科技的热情,也有助于汇聚产业机遇、吸引国际人才,助力我国抢占全球人工智能产业制高点。
    In terms of science popularization and industrial promotion, Professor Zhao Yunze, Director of the Artificial Intelligence and Communication Professional Committee (the event organizer), notes that this contest functions as a "national science and technology enlightenment campaign." It not only sparks public enthusiasm for science and technology, but also helps converge industrial opportunities, attract international talents, and support China in securing a leading position in the global artificial intelligence industry.
  • 随着初赛落幕,晋级队伍将继续在复赛和决赛中,向着更高阶的“人机对抗”与纯“机机对决”挑战进发,持续探索智能体认知与交互能力的边界。
    As the preliminary rounds conclude, the qualifying teams will proceed to the semi-finals and finals. They will take on more advanced challenges of "human-machine confrontation" and "pure machine duels," continuing to explore the boundaries of intelligent agents' cognitive and interactive capabilities.
