The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Social Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, and the Ministry of Civil Affairs have recently jointly issued the Notice on Optimizing Urban and Rural Community Posts to Abosorb College Graduates for Employment. It puts forward a series of policy measures to encourage more college graduates to take jobs in urban and rural communities.
The circular specifies that all channels for college graduates to obtain employment in urban and rural communities should be smoothed. It will recruit graduates through four approaches: optimizing recruitment for the team of full-time community workers, developing urban and rural community service posts, encouraging enterprises and social organizations in the community service sector to absorb graduates, and advancing recruitment for trainee posts in urban and rural communities.
The circular requires better release of job information and improvement of the mechanism for collecting and releasing grassroots posts in urban and rural areas. It will uniformly release vacant community posts and actively organize offline recruitment events. To improve service capacity, training resources such as various talent training bases will be used to provide training for college graduates employed in urban and rural communities.
