会议指出，要深入学习领会习近平总书记主持召开中共中央政治局会议时的重要讲话精神，认真落实党中央关于当前经济工作的决策部署，进一步提高政治站位，提振发展信心，扎实推动铁路高质量发展和现代化建设重点任务，在服务稳就业、稳企业、稳市场、稳预期中履职尽责、担当作为。用好国家“两重”“两新”等有利政策，加快铁路规划建设，有序推进铁路老旧设备更新改造，努力完成更多实物工作量，有效发挥铁路投资拉动作用；优化客货运输供给，全力做好五一、端午小长假运输组织，着力推动货运上量，更好助力发展服务消费和降低全社会物流成本；强化底线思维，有效防范化解风险隐患；坚持用深化改革的办法解决发展中的问题，推动“六个市场化运营中心”有序运转、发挥积极作用，加快构建高效运营的新型生产、经营和管理体系，激发铁路发展的内生动力和活力。
