Sara Granberg dominates Steering the Course eSailing event to earn spot in ESWC Final

In an impressive display of skill and determination, Sweden’s Sara Granberg emerged victorious in the Steering the Course eSailing event, an all-female championship that earns the winner a guaranteed spot in the ESWC Final. This will be Sara’s second successive appearance in the prestigious final, and she will be looking to build on the 9th place finish at the 2024 ESWC Final in Stockholm.
Competing against 11 other sailors from across the globe, Sara dominated almost every race, securing first or second place in all but one—race 4, where she finished 8th.
The competition was fierce, with top sailors from Poland, Italy, USA, Japan, Germany, France, and Switzerland bringing their best to the waters.

In second and third place, two Polish sailors, Malgorzata Wojtysiak (Kalafiorro) and the former STC winner, Natalia Pryba (AntilaAquila), completed the podium. Rounding out the top five were Kanako Miki (Kanako_), a member of the Japanese national team, and Anastasia Flionova (nfsailor), a formidable sailor from the USA, showcasing the global talent rising through the ranks. All four earned a place in the ESWC Playoffs.
Sara’s victory marks a milestone in her sailing career as she prepares for her second ESWC Final, and her performance has already inspired many in the sailing community, especially in her country. With such a competitive field, the upcoming ESWC playoffs and Final are sure to be an exciting showcase of talent from around the world.
