According to Philippine media reports, the Philippine Embassy in China stated on October 15 that it will resume the electronic visa program for Chinese citizens starting in November. The embassy said that Chinese citizens traveling to the Philippines for tourism or business purposes, with trips not exceeding 14 days and not requiring an extension, can apply for an electronic visa. Holders of the electronic visa must enter through either Manila International Airport or Mactan-Cebu International Airport.
