Zhuhai checkpoints leading to Macao, Hong Kong register 100 million trips

珠海通往澳门和香港的检查站记录了1亿人的入境人次

GUANGZHOU -- A total of 100 million inbound and outbound passenger trips were recorded in 2025 via checkpoints in Zhuhai connecting to Macao and Hong Kong by Sunday, 22 days earlier than last year, official data showed.

广州——官方数据显示，截至周日，2025年通过珠海连接澳门和香港的检查站出入境旅客总人次达到了1亿，比去年提前了22天。

These checkpoints in Zhuhai, a city in Guangdong province, include the ports of Gongbei, Hengqin, Qingmao and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.

这些检查站位于广东省珠海市，包括拱北口岸、横琴口岸、青茂口岸以及港珠澳大桥口岸。

According to the Zhuhai exit-entry inspection station, surging cross-border travel of mainland, Hong Kong and Macao residents has been fueled by a variety of favorable policies, adding that simplified clearance procedures have further boosted tourism and consumption.

根据珠海出入境检查站消息，内地、香港和澳门居民跨境旅行激增得益于一系列有利的政策推动。该站台还表示，简化通关程序进一步促进了旅游也和消费的增长。

Data shows outbound and inbound trips by Hong Kong and Macao residents via these checkpoints rose 12 percent year-on-year, while mainland resident trips increased 14 percent.

数据显示，通过这些检查站进出境香港和澳门的居民的出行人次同比增长了12%，而内地居民的出行人次增长了14%。

Additionally, foreign nationals entering China via these checkpoints surged significantly, with Zhuhai ports processing 880,000 foreign travelers this year -- including 170,000 visa-free entries, up 79 percent annually.

此外，通过这些口岸入境中国的外籍人士大幅增加，珠海口岸今年一共处理了88万名外国游客，其中包括17万名免签入境，同比增长79%。

He Caigen, an official from the Zhuhai exit-entry inspection station, said: "The accelerated growth reflects rapid development in the Greater Bay Area."

珠海出入境检查站的工作人员何才根表示：“这种快速增长反映了大湾区的快速发展。”
