当地时间2025年3月23日，中共中央政治局委员、中央外办主任王毅在东京集体会见日中友好七团体代表。日中友好议员联盟会长、执政党干事长森山裕，日本国际贸易促进会会长河野洋平以及日中友好协会、日中文化交流协会、日中经济协会、日中协会、日中友好会馆等负责人参加。
On March 23, 2025, local time, Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs, met collectively with representatives from seven Japan-China friendship organizations in Tokyo. Participants included Hiroshi Moriyama, President of the Japan-China Friendship Parliamentary Alliance and Secretary-General of the ruling party; Yohei Kono, President of the Japan Association for the Promotion of International Trade; as well as leaders from the Japan-China Friendship Association, Japan-China Cultural Exchange Association, Japan-China Economic Association, Japan-China Association, and the Japan-China Friendship Center.
王毅表示，当今世界经历百年未有之大变局，单边保护主义抬头，经济全球化遭遇逆流，国际秩序面临变乱加剧的严峻挑战。而中国的发展振兴是这个世界和平力量的增长、稳定因素的增强，也是发展动力的延续。面对变局乱局，中国将承担大国责任，展现大国担当，秉持构建人类命运共同体崇高目标，同各国一道，维护亚洲和平安宁，促进人类发展进步，决不允许世界重回恃强凌弱的“丛林”。当前形势下，中日作为一衣带水的近邻和全球两大经济体，有必要对中日关系的价值再认识，对中日友好的意义再确认，对两国的互利合作再加强，对友好的民间力量再集结，携手推动中日关系持续健康稳定发展。
Wang Yi stated that The world today is undergoing profound transformations unseen in a century. Unilateral protectionism is on the rise, economic globalization faces countercurrents, and the international order confronts severe challenges marked by escalating instability. However, China’s development and rejuvenation represent not only the growth of global forces for peace and the strengthening of stabilizing factors but also the continuation of developmental momentum. In the face of such turbulence, China will fulfill its responsibilities as a major country, uphold the lofty goal of building a community with a shared future for mankind, and work with all nations to safeguard peace in Asia, promote human progress, and resolutely oppose any regression to a "law of the jungle" where might makes right.Under current circumstances, as close neighbors separated only by a strip of water and two leading global economies, China and Japan must: Reassess the strategic value of bilateral relations;Reaffirm the significance of friendship; Strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation; Rally grassroots forces for goodwill. Together, we must advance the sustained, healthy, and stable development of China-Japan relations.
王毅表示，日中友好七团体长期致力于中日友好，为中日关系改善发展作出独特和重要贡献，中方高度赞赏。当前两国关系既迎来改善发展的重要机遇，也需要应对各种挑战和问题。希望七团体坚定信心，排除干扰，克服困难，勇往直前，坚持中日和平友好合作的大方向，为维护两国人民根本利益作出新的贡献。一要维护好两国关系的政治基础。中日联合声明经中日和平友好条约确认，共同构成具有法律约束力的两国关系指导性文件，必须严格履行，尤其要正确看待处理历史和台湾问题，抵制一切歪曲篡改、动摇模糊的言行。二要发扬“以民促官”传统。大力加强各领域对话交流，增进两国人民理解互信。三要培养中日友好的接班人。团结更多各界人士，特别是鼓励青年一代广泛参与两国友好事业，把中日世代友好传承下去，发扬光大。
Wang Yi stated that the seven Japan-China friendship organizations have long been committed to promoting bilateral amity and have made unique and significant contributions to the improvement and development of China-Japan relations, which the Chinese side highly appreciates. While current bilateral relations face important opportunities for positive development, they must also address various challenges and issues. He expressed hope that these seven organizations would strengthen their confidence, resist disruptions, overcome difficulties, advance resolutely, uphold the overarching direction of peaceful and friendly cooperation between China and Japan, and make new contributions to safeguarding the fundamental interests of the peoples of both countries. He emphasized three priorities: first, to safeguard the political foundation of bilateral relations, strictly honor the China-Japan Joint Statement and the China-Japan Treaty of Peace and Friendship as legally binding guiding documents, properly address historical issues and the Taiwan question, and oppose any actions or rhetoric that distort facts or undermine principles; second, to carry forward the tradition of "people-driven diplomacy" by strengthening dialogue and exchanges across all sectors to enhance mutual understanding and trust; third, to cultivate successors for Japan-China friendship by uniting broader societal forces, particularly encouraging younger generations to actively participate in bilateral friendship initiatives, ensuring the intergenerational inheritance and flourishing of goodwill between the two nations.
与会日中友好团体代表对日中关系来之不易的改善发展势头感到欣慰，表示和平友好是国与国相交的根本，也是一个国家最大的安全保障。日中友好对两国和两国人民至关重要，面对变乱交织的国际局势，日方应坚持“永不再战、世代友好”。日中友好团体将坚定不移维护两国关系政治基础，矢志不渝促进日中交流，不失时机开展地方和青少年等民间交往，持续不断增进两国国民感情，为日中关系改善向好作出新的贡献。
The representatives from Japan-China friendship organizations attending the meeting expressed satisfaction with the hard-won momentum of improvement and development in bilateral relations, stating that peace and friendship constitute the fundamental basis for interstate relations and represent the greatest security guarantee for any nation. They emphasized that Japan-China friendship remains vital for both countries and their peoples, urging Japan to uphold the principle of "Never Again to War, Friendship Across Generations" amid the turbulent international landscape. The organizations pledged to unwaveringly safeguard the political foundation of bilateral relations, persistently promote Japan-China exchanges, proactively conduct grassroots interactions including local-level and youth engagements, and continuously enhance mutual affinity between the two peoples, thereby making fresh contributions to the sustained positive trajectory of Japan-China relations.
