2025年2月7日下午，国家主席习近平在哈尔滨会见来华出席第九届亚洲冬季运动会开幕式的国际奥林匹克委员会主席巴赫。

On the afternoon of February 7, 2025, President Xi Jinping met in Harbin with President Bach of the International Olympic Committee who came to China to attend the opening ceremony of the Ninth Asian Winter Games.

习近平指出，近年来，中国成功举办北京冬奥会、成都大运会、杭州亚运会，今晚将迎来哈尔滨亚冬会。这些重大体育赛事，都体现了中国同国际奥委会的密切合作。奥林匹克精神是人类文明的重要组成部分，与中国以中国式现代化全面推进强国建设、民族复兴伟业的目标和推动构建人类命运共同体的愿景高度契合。中国将奥林匹克精神同中华优秀传统文化相结合，大力发展体育事业，朝着建设体育强国、健康中国目标迈进，必将为国际体育事业不断作出新的贡献。我们愿同国际奥委会一道，继续推动奥林匹克运动蓬勃发展。

Xi Jinping pointed out that in recent years, China has successfully hosted the Beijing Winter Olympics, the Chengdu Universiade, and the Hangzhou Asian Games. Tonight will usher in the Harbin Asian Winter Games. These major sports events reflect the close cooperation between China and the International Olympic Committee. The Olympic spirit is an important part of human civilization, which is highly consistent with China's goal of comprehensively promoting the construction of a powerful country and the great cause of national rejuvenation with Chinese-style modernization, and the vision of promoting the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind. China will combine the Olympic spirit with the excellent traditional Chinese culture, vigorously develop sports, and move towards the goal of building a sports power and a healthy China. It will continue to make new contributions to international sports. We are willing to work with the International Olympic Committee to continue to promote the vigorous development of the Olympic Movement.

巴赫表示，感谢中方长期以来给予国际奥委会的大力支持。中国成功举办精彩难忘的北京冬奥会等重大赛事，为国际奥林匹克事业作出了重大贡献。中国倡导并践行团结合作、平等尊重等理念，坚持多边主义，反对体育政治化，支持发展中国家广泛参与国际体育事业，有力推动了奥林匹克运动健康发展。相信中国将不断以更大的发展成就，在世界和平、发展、进步事业中发挥更大作用。相信哈尔滨亚冬会一定会圆满成功。

Bach expressed his gratitude to China for its long-term support to the International Olympic Committee. China successfully hosted the wonderful and unforgettable Beijing Winter Olympics and other major events, making significant contributions to the international Olympic cause. China advocates and practices the concepts of unity, cooperation, equality and respect, adheres to multilateralism, opposes the politicization of sports, and supports the extensive participation of developing countries in international sports, which has effectively promoted the healthy development of the Olympic Movement.
