In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and give full play to the leading role of Party building, on March 19, the First and Fourth Branches of the Party Committee of PetroChina Zhejiang Sales Hangzhou Company jointly organized 19 Party members and youth league members to visit Meijiawu Tea Culture Village for a themed Party Day activity titled “Pursue the Premier’s Footsteps, Converge Development Synergy” — an event integrating Party building with youth league building. By combining immersive red education with on-site teaching, the activity guided Party members to draw strength for progress from reflecting on their original mission and purpose, solidifying the ideological foundation for achieving the annual business goals.
On the day of the activity, Party members followed the historical footsteps of Premier Zhou Enlai’s five inspections of Meijiawu, visiting a series of red landmarks including the Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall, Meijiawu Historical Old Street, the site of the former primary school, and Wufu Bridge. In the memorial hall’s exhibition area, they systematically reviewed vivid scenes of Premier Zhou and leaders such as Dong Biwu and Chen Yi guiding rural work through precious historical photos, documents, and artifacts, deeply appreciating the spirit of “integrity in public service and dedication to the people.” In the historical old street, the guide recounted Meijiawu’s transformation from a traditional tea village into a model for modern cultural and tourism integration, especially its development practice since 2000 through the “Party building + industry” model, which shifted from single tea planting to tea-tourism integration. This allowed Party members to visually witness the powerful role of Party building in driving rural revitalization.
During the subsequent branch Party study meeting, drawing on Meijiawu’s experience in integrating primary, secondary, and tertiary industries, Party members held in-depth discussions on the theme of “Party building empowering business development.” They agreed that translating the red spirit into driving force for tackling challenges requires focusing on two key areas. On the one hand, they aim to deepen collaborative development across the four business modules of “store sales, online sales, community marketing, and direct sales” to build a targeted marketing system. On the other hand, they plan to learn from Meijiawu’s innovative “experience economy” model by exploring a marketing closed-loop featuring “customer chain-driven growth + scenario-based experiences,” enhancing customer retention through the creation of immersive consumption scenarios.
“This themed Party Day activity effectively combines red education with business discussions, not only deepening our understanding of our original mission and purpose but also providing new ideas for solving business challenges.” Party members expressed their consensus that, by taking the striving spirit of Meijiawu’s Party members and residents as an example, they will play a vanguard and exemplary role in tasks such as market expansion and customer service, contributing to the company’s high-quality development with greater efforts.
