The growth of trade and investment between China and the UK has created more job opportunities for both sides, boosted innovation, enhanced productivity, and at the same time provided stability and certainty for economic development. Such exchanges are of great importance to both parties.“Craftsmanship, design and quality are the biggest selling points of British products. China’s consumer market boasts enormous potential, so there are vast opportunities for cooperation between Chinese and British enterprises, especially in the consumer goods sector.”

    Australia Natural Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is a "long-time friend" of the Expo. Li Zimeng, General Manager of the company’s China division, told Global Times reporters, "When we participated in a Chinese consumer goods exhibition back in 2018, we attracted significant attention from many purchasers. This strengthened our resolve to enter and explore the Chinese market, which is why we have taken part in every edition of the Expo since 2021. We hope to bring more sweetness and health from Oceania to Chinese consumers."

    This year, Singaporean enterprises are participating in the Expo as a delegation for the first time, hoping to further explore cooperation opportunities with the Chinese market through this platform. Singapore’s Full Share Wellness Pte. Ltd. showcased its Jinshan Hong, a premium tea product made from ancient tea trees. "The Chinese tea market holds enormous potential, and partnering with local tea enterprises is a key strategy for us to expand our market reach," said Liu Jiaowen, General Manager of Full Share Wellness Pte. Ltd., in an interview with Global Times reporters. He added that this cooperation model not only preserves the essence of traditional tea-making craftsmanship, but also incorporates product designs that cater to the preferences of the contemporary consumer market. "We have learned a great deal from each other through cooperation with Chinese enterprises. The Chinese market still has vast potential waiting to be explored."

    “The Chinese market is a fertile ground full of strategic opportunities for Southeast Asian enterprises,” said Suphachai Chearavanont, Chief Executive Officer of Thailand’s TC Pharmaceutical Industries Co., Ltd., in an interview with Global Times reporters. He noted that the Chinese market is vast and vibrant, boasting both prosperous first-tier cities and rapidly growing county-level markets. In recent years, the Chinese government has introduced relevant policies to vigorously boost consumption and expand domestic demand, which has effectively stimulated the recovery and growth of the consumer market. This has laid a solid market foundation for the sustainable development of China’s economy, and also injected strong impetus and confidence into Southeast Asian enterprises looking to deepen their investment layout in China. Policy dividends and regional cooperation have provided robust support for these enterprises.He believes that China’s high-standard opening-up has promoted trade and economic partnerships with Southeast Asian countries. Particularly against the backdrop of the high-quality advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the release of dividends from the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), the level of trade facilitation between China and ASEAN countries has been continuously raised, and industrial chain collaboration has deepened day by day. All these have created more favorable conditions for Southeast Asian enterprises to enter and further develop their business in the Chinese market.
