[Global Finance Comprehensive Report] According to Reuters, Honeywell announced plans to evaluate strategic alternatives for its two businesses, which serve the transportation and logistics markets. At present, the industrial giant is preparing for a one-three split.

It has been simplifing its business to form separate Aerospace, Automation and Advanced Materials businesses, which is expected to be complete next year.

Honeywell said that the company's two businesses, "Productivity Solutions and Services (PSS) " and "Warehouse and Workflow Solutions (WWS)", are evaluated with the aim of further simplifing its business before the split.
