Abhisek Chakrabarti, Director of Strategy, Projects & Licensing for BASF’s Intermediates division in Asia Pacific, said: “Licensing our proven technology offers an attractive value proposition for customers and partners in the market, enabling them to access innovation, reduce R&D costs, and accelerate time-to-market—thereby achieving quick wins.”
PolyTHF® is a key raw material for producing spandex elastic fibers, which are widely used in textiles such as swimwear, sportswear, underwear, shirts, and stretch denim jeans. Elastic fibers not only provide long-lasting wearing comfort but also offer moisture resistance and antibacterial properties.
