2025年11月6日，在第八届中国国际进口博览会上，中国卫通所属星航互联通过签署战略合作意向函，与空中客车正式建立合作伙伴关系。此次合作具有里程碑意义，旨在向中国民航市场引入并部署空中客车HBCplus Ka波段机上互联解决方案，共同为中国航空公司及乘客提供高性能、无缝且体验卓越的机上连接服务。
On November 6, 2025, at the 8th China International Import Expo, Star-Aviation Interconnection, a subsidiary of China Satcom, formally established a partnership with Airbus by signing a strategic cooperation letter of intent. This collaboration is of milestone significance and aims to introduce and deploy Airbus’ HBCplus Ka-band inflight connectivity solution to the Chinese civil aviation market, jointly providing Chinese airlines and passengers with high-performance, seamless, and premium inflight connectivity experiences.
此次合作为双方共同探索、开发及推广机上互联解决方案奠定了坚实基础，该方案的核心优势体现在双方能力的互补共赢，作为端到端解决方案主导者，空中客车将负责HBCplus项目的整体管理，凭借其在飞机集成领域的深厚技术积淀，为新飞机（线装）及现役机队（改装）提供经认证的Ka波段终端解决方案，并作为供应商SFE保障方案落地，其角色覆盖解决方案全生命周期管理，确保方案兼具可靠性、适航性等，这种集成化模式不仅为航空公司降低了应用风险，更提供了性能可保障的一站式服务方案；星航互联则以航空互联网服务提供者的角色，联合卫星合作伙伴提供高通量Ka波段卫星网络服务，依托母公司中国卫通的Ka网络资源，该资源具备覆盖范围广、网络稳定性强及地面配套设施完善等优势，星航互联可向航空公司提供高速稳定的航空互联网服务，为航司打造愉悦的机上网络体验。
This cooperation lays a solid foundation for both parties to jointly explore, develop, and promote inflight connectivity solutions. Its core advantage lies in the complementary and win-win synergy of their respective capabilities. As the end-to-end solution leader, Airbus will take overall responsibility for managing the HBCplus program. Leveraging its deep technical expertise in aircraft integration, Airbus will provide certified Ka-band terminal solutions for both new aircraft (line-fit) and in-service fleets (retrofit), and act as the SFE (Supplier-Furnished Equipment) guarantor to ensure smooth implementation. Its role spans the entire lifecycle of the solution, ensuring reliability, airworthiness, and other critical factors. This integrated approach not only reduces application risks for airlines but also delivers a one-stop service package with guaranteed performance. Star-Aviation Interconnection, in its capacity as an aviation internet service provider, will partner with satellite operators to deliver high-throughput Ka-band satellite network services. Backed by the Ka network resources of its parent company, China Satcom—which boasts broad coverage, strong network stability, and well-developed ground support facilities—Star-Aviation Interconnection can provide airlines with high-speed, stable aviation internet services, creating a pleasant onboard connectivity experience for carriers.
双方将以合作伙伴关系为基础，紧密协作。在本届进博会期间，空中客车与南方航空公司签署合同，为其30架A350客机（其中包括20架在役客机加改装和10架随新飞机交付）配备HBCPlus方案。该合同的签署标志着南方航空成为中国首家采用HBCPlus机载互联平台的航空公司，首架配备HBCplus方案的A350客机预计将于2026年投入运营，这将成为双方协同推进中国市场机上互联网的首个标杆案例。
Based on this partnership, the two sides will collaborate closely. During this year’s CIIE, Airbus signed a contract with China Southern Airlines to equip 30 A350 aircraft (comprising 20 in‑service aircraft for retrofit and 10 to be delivered as line‑fit on new planes) with the HBCplus solution. The signing of this contract marks China Southern Airlines as the first airline in China to adopt the HBCplus airborne connectivity platform. The first A350 equipped with HBCplus is expected to enter service in 2026, setting the inaugural benchmark case for the joint promotion of inflight internet in the Chinese market.

The collaboration between Airbus and China Satcom’s Star-Aviation Interconnection represents a deep integration of aerospace manufacturing technology and satellite communications capabilities, combining their respective strengths to work in concert. Looking ahead, as the partnership continues to deepen and the HBCplus solution is rolled out more widely, both parties will keep empowering Chinese airlines, helping them enhance their core competitiveness, create smarter and more convenient inflight travel experiences, and jointly drive China’s civil aviation industry toward high‑quality development.
