中国林科院推荐的外国专家荣获2024年度中国政府友谊奖

9月30日，2024年度中国政府友谊奖颁奖仪式在人民大会堂隆重举行，国务委员谌贻琴向获奖外国专家颁奖并讲话，人力资源社会保障部部长王晓萍宣读了授奖决定。由我院推荐的志水一允教授荣获2024年度中国政府友谊奖，并参加了上述颁奖活动。
On September 30, the awarding ceremony of the 2024 Chinese Government Friendship Award was grandly held in the Great Hall of the People. State Councilor Shen Yiqin presented awards and delivered a speech to the winning foreign experts, and Wang Xiaoping, the Minister of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, read out the decision of awarding. Professor Kazumasa Shimizu, recommended by Chinese Academy of Forestry, won the 2024 Chinese Government Friendship Award and participated in the above awarding activities.
9月27日国家林草局有关负责同志会见了志水一允教授，对其获得政府友谊奖表示祝贺，并介绍了国家林草局深入贯彻落实习近平生态文明思想，积极推进“三北”工程攻坚战，监督管理森林、草原、湿地、荒漠四大生态系统等方面的工作。同时指出，外国专家智力引进工作为中国林草事业发展提供了人才和技术支持，希望志水一允教授持续关注和参与林草科研合作，在林草高水平人才培养方面继续发挥作用。志水一允教授回顾了与中国林草主管部门的合作历程，特别是在中国林科院工作和生活的美好时光，表示十分荣幸获得中国政府友谊奖，将进一步深化与中方专家和科研单位的交流，推动中日两国在林草科技创新及生态保护方面的合作。
On September 27, the responsible comrades of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration met with Professor Kazumasa Shimizu , congratulated him on winning the Chinese Government Friendship Award, and introduced that the National Forestry and Grassland Administration is committed to Xi Jinping Thought on Eco-Civilization, and actively promoted crucial stage in the shelterbelt program in northeast, north, and northwest China and supervise and manage work of the four major ecosystems of forests, grasslands, wetlands, and deserts. At the same time, it is pointed out that the introduction of foreign experts' intelligence has provided talents and technical support for the development of China's forestry and grassland industry. It is hoped that Professor Kazumasa Shimizu will continue to pay attention to and cooperate with us in forest and grass scientific research, and continue to play a role in the cultivation of high-level forestry and grassland talents. Professor Kazumasa Shimizu reviewed the course of cooperation process with the Chinese forestry and grassland authorities, especially the wonderful time of working and living in the Chinese Academy of Forestry, and said that he was very honored to receive the Chinese Government Friendship Award and would further deepen exchanges with Chinese experts and scientific research institutions to promote cooperation between China and Japan in scientific and technological innovation of forestry and grassland as well as ecological protection.
志水一允，国际木材科学院院士，曾任日本大学教授、农林水产部森林综合研究所木材化工部长、日本木材学会副会长、纤维学会理事、“提高木材耐久性技术研究组合”技术开发委员会委员长等。2000~2002年作为专家组组长、首席顾问在中国林科院木工所参与中日政府间（JICA渠道）专项技术合作项目“中国人工林木材研究”。2002年曾因为中国科技发展和经济建设及中日友好做出的贡献获得“科技部表彰”，2020年曾获“梁希林业科学技术奖国际科技合作奖”。近25年来，通过国际科技合作，提高了我国木材科学基础研究能力，为我国人工林木材的大规模利用提供了科技支撑，助力我国木材领域的科技创新和成果转化，并且为我国人工林木材利用研究领域培育了中坚力量。此外，还推动日本国际协力机构向我国无偿捐献了总价值5.2亿日元的仪器设备，助力建成中国木材研究先进科研条件平台。
Kazumasa Shimizu, an academician of the International Academy of Wood Science, once served as the professor of Nihon University, the head of the Wood Chemical Department at the Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan, the vice president of the Japan Wood Research Society, a director of the Fiber Society, and the chairperson of the Technical Development Committee of the "Research Association for Technology to Improve Wood Durability", etc.From 2000 to 2002, as the team leader and chief consultant of the expert group, he participated in the special technical cooperation project "Research on Chinese Plantation Wood" between the Chinese and Japanese governments (through the JICA channel) at the Research Institute of Wood Industry of the Chinese Academy of Forestry. In 2002, he was commended by the Ministry of Science and Technology for his contributions to China's scientific and technological development and economic construction and Sino-Japanese friendship, and in 2020, he was awarded the Liangxi Forestry Science and Technology Award for International Science and Technology Cooperation Award ". Over the past nearly 25 years, through international scientific and technological cooperation, our country's basic research capabilities in wood science have been improved. It also provides scientific and technological support for the large-scale utilization of China's plantation wood and helps scientific and technological innovation and achievement transformation in the field of wood in our country, and for the use of plantation wood in our country. Therefore, it has cultivated the backbone for the research field of wood utilization of plantation in China. In addition, it also promoted the Japan International Cooperation Agency to donate instruments and equipment worth a total value of 0.52 billion yen to China for free, helping to build an advanced scientific research platform for wood research in China.
