BEIJING, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- China's new-energy vehicle (NEV) sales in July accounted for more than 60 percent of the monthly new car sales for the first time, while the cumulative share for the first seven months also surpassed 50 percent, industry data showed on Wednesday.

新华社北京8月12日电，周三公布的行业数据显示，7月份中国新能源汽车销量占当月新车销量的比重首次超过60%，前7个月的累计份额也超过50%。

In July alone, NEV output and sales reached over 1.57 million and 1.56 million units, up 26.8 percent and 23.7 percent year on year, according to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

中国汽车工业协会的数据显示，仅7月份，新能源汽车产销量就分别超过157万辆和156万辆，同比增长26.8%和23.7%。
